Terms of Use
These terms govern access to and use of Levux during the closed beta. They set out the rules applicable to professional accounts, client portals, forms, documents, and scoping assistance content generated in the application.
Purpose of the service
Levux is an application for freelancers, independents, and small teams who want to better scope and qualify client projects before committing. The service allows you to centralize a brief, client information, documents, forms, responses, and decision-support analyses and estimates.
Levux is not a general-purpose CRM, legal service, accounting tool, or a solution intended to replace the user's professional judgment.
Access to the service
During the closed beta, professional access to Levux is reserved for people invited or authorized by the publisher. The publisher may refuse, suspend, or revoke access if the terms of use are not respected, or if observed usage compromises the proper functioning of the service.
End clients may access certain pages via a share link or a dedicated client portal to view a project, respond to a form, or provide information useful for scoping. This access does not give them access to the user's professional workspace.
Account and credentials
The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when creating or completing their account. They must keep their credentials confidential and promptly report any unauthorized use of their account.
Any action taken from an account is presumed to have been performed by the account holder, unless proven otherwise. The user agrees not to share their professional access with an unauthorized person.
Permitted use
The user agrees to use Levux in line with its purpose: preparing, clarifying, qualifying, and estimating client projects. In particular, they agree not to:
- attempt to access accounts, projects, forms, or documents not intended for them;
- disrupt, abuse-test, or bypass the service's security mechanisms;
- upload unlawful, misleading, unauthorized confidential content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
- use Levux to send spam, collect data without a legitimate basis, or create forms unrelated to a real project;
- resell, copy, or make the service available without the publisher's prior written consent.
Content and project data
Briefs, documents, form responses, client information, and other content uploaded to Levux remain the responsibility of the user who provides or collects them. The user must ensure they have the rights and permissions needed to process them in the context of their project.
Content submitted by a client via a share link or client portal is intended for the relevant professional and for scoping the associated project. Levux must not be used to collect sensitive information or information unrelated to the project.
Analyses, estimates, and artificial intelligence
Some Levux features may produce analyses, estimates, summaries, or suggestions from project information. This content is decision-support for scoping. It may contain approximations, omissions, or errors.
The user remains responsible for checking generated results, adapting them to their professional context, and deciding whether to use them in client communications, estimates, proposals, or business decisions.
Intellectual property
The Levux application, its interface, texts, structure, visual components, code, and distinctive elements are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction, adaptation, distribution, or exploitation is prohibited.
The user retains the rights they hold over content they upload to Levux. However, they grant the publisher the rights strictly necessary to host, process, back up, display, and analyze that content in order to provide the service.
Availability and evolution of the service
Levux is offered as a closed beta and may evolve quickly. Some features may be modified, suspended, or removed to improve the product, fix an issue, or preserve service security.
The publisher uses reasonable means to ensure access to the service, without guaranteeing continuous availability or the absence of errors. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, technical incidents, or force majeure.
Liability
Levux helps the user organize information and make better decisions about how to approach a project. The publisher cannot be held liable for commercial, contractual, technical, or financial decisions made by the user based on information in the application.
The user alone is responsible for their communications with clients, verification of collected information, quotes, proposals, commitments, and deliverables.
Personal data
Using Levux involves processing personal data, in particular for managing accounts, projects, clients, forms, and documents. Processing details are set out in the privacy policy.
Acceptance and changes to the terms
Accessing the service, creating or completing an account, accepting an invitation, or using a share link constitutes acceptance of these terms when they have been brought to the user's attention.
The publisher may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, the legal framework, or security measures. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of use.
Legal information and contact
Information about the publisher, hosting, and legal notices for the site is available on the legal notices page. For any question about these terms, you can write to contact@levux.app.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of difficulty, the parties will seek an amicable solution before any legal action. Failing amicable resolution, jurisdiction is assigned to the competent courts of Lyon, subject to mandatory applicable rules.
